Front Entrance Excitement
The entrance to your store (or office building) is the first and most important impression you will make on your customers. People need to feel welcomed and enticed, enthusiastic and open to spending their money at your establishment. Bringing them in the front door is half the battle to making a sale.
Window Displays
This is how you catch people's attention as they whiz by in their cars day after day. Your windows should make people want to stop and come in to see what else you have to offer. You need to think creatively, outside the box, and rotate your displays on a regular basis. Feng Shui cures can be placed both conspicuously and inconspicuously to attract the attention of passersby.
Signage
Make sure people know you are there. The signage says who you are and sets the tone for the whole store. You need plenty of signage in the best colors and the right font.
Drawing customers to the merchandise
Merchandise needs to 'jump out' at the customer. Merchandise can be arranged in such a way that touching, and then buying, is almost irresistible. Also, furniture, display racks and cases need to be placed on angles and in areas of the store that create more movement and chi.
Flow to cash register
The cash register needs to be placed in an appropriate area of the Feng Shui Octagon to maximize sales. All pathways in the store should easily lead to the register, which should have a clear view of the front door.
Eliminating cold spots
All store-owners know that certain areas of the store always sell more merchandise than other areas. American Feng Shui offers a solution to this problem by activating the cold spots with cures that draw people to every area of the store.
Reducing Theft
By strategically placing mirrors, arranging displays, and situating the cash register, you can significantly reduce the amount of theft in your store. Also, when people see you as their friend, they are less likely to steal from you. A store that feels friendly has very little theft.
Hiring and keeping good employees
By placing your store office and cash register in the appropriate areas of the Octagon, you can attract and keep wonderful employees who will love working in your store and increase your business.
Compensating for B location
Cures at the front of the store can compensate for your location. Your street address influences sales through numerology, and you can place a compensating number in the window.
Increased Sales
This is the most important reason to feng shui your store. Once everything is rearranged and energized, your store will feel fresh and new to you and your customers. Increased sales will naturally follow.
